This New Years was a lot different than the last couple of new years. Normally we are up at East Canyon in a condo with Tyler's family but we decided to go up the next day. This year my family decided to go to the Zoo lights at Hogle zoo. We started out having dinner at Hires downtown and enjoying their yummy fries and root beer floats and then all 17 of us headed to the Zoo!
The Kids in front of the light train its not the greatest picture but some are laying on the snow, mostly the boys, and they thought they were so funny.
Harrison and Brigham being boys wrestling
Bodie looking at the snakes. My sister Emily and her husband Mike were not at the zoo. That morning Emily had fallen down the last three steps at her house and hurt her ankle. We didn't want the kids to miss out so we took them with us and they had a ton of fun.
Some of the cool lights that the Zoo. It was fun to see the kids all bundled up and excited for the lights.
Wesley and Brigham looking at all the different foxes and animals that they will kill one day like their dad. They are starting young even with there coats.
Tyler and I freezing in this weather. The zoo had a count down for the kids at 9:00pm and handed out noise makers. It was a lot of fun to be there with the kids and my husband. It was a perfect New Years Eve and we were home by 9:30 and in bed by 10:30. How sad is that? But we were ready for our much needed get away to East Canyon the next morning.

How Fun!! I would have never thought of going there for New Year's Eve. What a great idea. I am glad you all had a wonderful time. By the way...what's wrong with being in bed by 10:30pm? Are you staying that I have no life? How rude!!! (Just Kidding!)
How cool! Literally! That sounded like such a fun time! I have always wanted to go do that at the Zoo!
