Work Work and More Work!

Friday after Thanksgiving was alot of Work and No play. Well our morning started off early at 5:30am when I made my first adventure out on Black Fiday to the fabric store Joann's. I couldn't believe how many people were at the fabric store that early for material, but you couldnt beat the sale on flannel for $1.49 a yard. I have a lot of friends that are pregnant and I like to make rag quilts for them so I decide to stock up on baby material. After Joann's we ventured out to Home Depot to get insulation for our attic to help keep our house warmer this winter.

My sister Emily came down to get her hair colored and her two kids hair cut, Bodie and Maddi. Bodie was so excited to help Tyler with the insulation so he spent most of the time outside with Tyler and his dad. Look how cute this two our?

Maddi was feeling left out so she decided to brush Calli's hair and pretend she was coloring her hair. Calli was such a good sport and just let her do it.

Maddi loves Calli and gives her hugs all the time. After a very long day of work, work and more work we were finally done with the insualtion, coloring and cutting hair and we were in bed by 10 on a friday night which was wonderful.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was celebrated the Sunday before at my sister Jennifer and husband Russell's house. Most my family was going to be out of town and my mom was scheduled worked until 3pm Thursday so we decided to enjoy it on a Sunday. I had been really sick the previous few days with a really bad sore throat and a cold so I was looking forward to some Yummy Turkey, Honey baked ham, stuffing and of course frog eye salad, and to top if off my mom's homemade rolls. There is nothing better than my mom's rolls (us kids fight for the dough YUMMY)! Still to this day we get in trouble and have to sneak a taste, even the son-in-laws get into trouble.
Happy and full from a good meal!
My family (left to right Jennifer, Morgan up top, Cooper, Regan, Jaxon and of course my mom). People don't understand why we are so such a close family but growing up I had four sisters and we would all fight for one spot on the couch and if we didn't get that spot we would either just lay on the person until they moved or sit by them. Well still to this day we fight over the couch and even the grand kids have started taking over the tradition. My dad would always call us kittens because there was so many of us and we would be on top of each other.

A litter of Kittens

My Maddi Moo she loves to put on peoples glasses and say look "I am Harry Potter."

Of course the wrestling starting if there is even an once of bare floor. Cooper and Harrison will wrestle until someone gets hurt, but there is no crying because their parents have warned them over and over again that someone is going to get hurt, but they don't listen.

Gracie is a tough girl, she thought that she would start wrestling Bodie and I do have to say she can wrestle. She can hold her own with the big boys now.

On Thanksgiving Day, Tyler and I went to the movie with his family. We saw Madagascar 2, it was cute, then we headed home and it was so nice to not have to drive from one end of the valley to the next and we were really able to enjoy our day. We had some munchies watched some movies, made some homemade cherry pies and even did a quilt. But most of all I was thankful to be home with my Husband and Calli and to enjoy our holiday peacefully. I am truly blessed to have such a great husband that adores me and loves me for all my quirky things. I am thankful for our families and there love for us and their support with whatever we need. Also to our friends, thank you for being our friends we are better people because we know you. I hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving

Moab!

Our last camping weekend for the year was in Moab. We left Thursday October 23rd and headed for the warmer part of Utah. We met Tyler's parent at the RV park and set up and just relaxed for the night. Cory and Joni came down on Friday and we went into town and did some shopping at the trading posts and the other shops and of course the sticker store.

Us in front of the trading post!

Saturday we went hiking in the morning to Negro Bill's Canyon to see Morning Glory Bridge

From this picture you can't really see how amazing it is, but it's beautiful.

Our Family Photo

Calli, Bitner and I at the Bridge! The dogs were loving every minute of this hike they were running so hard and playing in the water because we had to cross the steam several times. I am glad I just didn't get wet until the end. I lost my balance on a rock and got my feet soaked in the stream. I thought I was a goner.

Halloween Farnworth Style!

This is one of the biggest holidays for us! We love to dress up, decorate the house all spooky and fun outside and carve pumpkins. We started off by carving pumpkins two weeks before Halloween because we were going to Moab.

From left to right Xanna, Atticus (aka Atti), Mine, Laini and mom Farnworth pumpkins

Look at these cute little kids? Love those poses.

My baby Girl was a cow for Halloween! We usually dress Calli up for Halloween. Last year she was a Pirate and she's been a witch before but we thought she would make a cute cow. The kids love to see her dressed up.

This costume was awesome, my crafty husband Tyler made it and it fit her pretty good. we would laugh every time she wagged her tail because the cow tail would move so fast it was so hilarious!

Laini was a dead bride, spooky.

Braxton was the joker and he was scary! Ali is awesome when it comes to Halloween makeup and thanks to grandma for the hand tailored costume he looked great.

Atticus in his scarecrow costume. He was so cute with his hat at Grandmas house.

Xanna was Hannah Montana, and looked great with her long blonde hair, unfortunately though we didn't get a picture.

We kind of had a low key Halloween but it was nice. We went to Tyler's parents house and saw the kids in there costumes and had some pumpkin shaped pizza. Next year we should have some more good costumes.

Reba & Kelly Clarkson Concert!

Well its been a long time since I have blog so bare with me there are some late posts. The Funk girls are all huge Reba McEntire fans so when we heard she was coming in concert we were all so excited, so we made it a girls night out on the town. Perfect way to start the night off is a dinner at Robintions in Bountiful, what could be better?
All the Funk Girls!
After dinner we headed to the concert and it was so much fun and we enjoyed our night out. we can't wait for next year .

Antelope Island Ballon Festival!

First Adventure to Antelope Island

a couple of weekends ago Antelope Island was having there annual Hot Air Balloon festival were they have booths, hot air balloons and entertainment. So we decide to venture out there on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm we thought it would be fun to invite, Tyler's brother and his wife Joni, Tyler's mom Kay and two of his niece's, Laini and Xanna.

We got there a little early and as soon as we got there it started to rain, but it didn't stop us so we decided to take in the sites of the island. Here are the girls posing in front of a Buffalo statue depicting the ones that roam the island.

Laini with the buffalo

Xanna is so scared of people in costumes but we made her pose with him anyway. See the fright in her eyes? Thanks to her Uncle Ty who loves to scary the poor girl.

It was raining so hard that for about an hour we just sat under neath the tarp laughing and freezing. Who knew it would be that cold we were dressed for summer.

Laini is such a monkey I swear. She just climbed up the climbing wall like a champ, she was beating all the boys and the worker made her do the hardest climb and she still made it to the top to ring the bell. That a girl Laini.

Well after a long day and no hot Air balloons because of the wind, we went home. There was a beautiful sunset on our way home which was a nice way to end the day.

School Carnival!

Two weeks ago we were invited to Tyler's nieces school for there carnival to support and help raise money for charity, it was a lot of fun but a little on the cold side. It was outside of the school with tons of booths and games for the kids as well as big bounce houses.

Tyler and Xanna having fun

Laini with her Pink hair. She was so excited to show us. Look at the cute smile.

Tyler and Calli. This dog is so spoiled she comes everywhere with us. She is so good with kids and just loves to be part of the family.

Only one good picture out of seven I took, because Tyler won't smile he is sick of me taking pictures of us. But he still loves me!

Anniversary Weekend!

OK so this post is late and long over due but our Anniversary was September 8th and we spent the weekend in Park City. It's been three years since the big day! Tyler and I starting dating when we worked at Providian Financial together as Administrative Assistants, that's when I feel in love with his smile and his eyes that disappear and his sweet personality. We dated for almost three years and we knew that we would always get married but the timing was just never right! September 8, 2005 we were FINALLY married at the Memorial House in Memory Grove downtown outside in the park with close family and friends. It was a small wedding and a perfect day!

It was so neat to have my dad walk me down the aisle, I was never emotional, I was fine all day long, not nervous at all just calm and exited, until I walked out the front door and I realized the day I had been waiting for was FINALLY here and I got nervous until I saw Tyler standing there, holding back the tears, with a great big smile and I was ready for the journey that we were going to make together as a married couple .

I love this picture were you can see Tyler in the background. I am sad I don't have any of the pictures with just Tyler and I together other than our wedding we have in our photo album.

We were so lucky to have my uncle Dave marry us. I think that everyone was crying but my nephews that had to stand there the whole time my uncle Dave talked. Poor kids.

My most favorite pictures, picture of two of my nephews that were our ring barriers, Harrison on the left Cooper on the right, with two of Tyler's cute and sweet nieces that were our flower girls, Xanna on the right and Laini on the left.

Last Bees Game!

Last weekend was an adventure for Tyler and I. We decide that It would be fun to ride the FrontRunner and TRAX down to one of the last Bees game of the year and meet Joni and Cory. We started off catching FrontRunner at the Woods Cross Station, the train was about 20 minutes late so of course we were about half hour late to the game. There is nothing better than a hot dog and a good baseball game on a Saturday night.

It was our first FrontRunner experience, and we will rethink it before our next ride. On our way home we rode TRAX back to the Salt Lake Central Station to get on FrontRunner. We were tired and ready to head home after a long day but come to find out it was going to be an even longer night. Since it was a weekend night, the train was only running every hour. We got to the station at 10:40pm and the next train wasn't there until 11:20pm. The runner got there about 15 minutes early so we loaded on and got comfortable in our seats. We sat there for a good 30 minutes and it ended up pulling out of the station about 20 minutes late. We didn't get home until about 12:15am and we could have been home by 10:45pm had we driven ourselves. Wow isn't saving gas fun? Tyler and I had way too much fun teasing with the teenagers that were on the train riding home. Sometimes I don't feel my age.

It was actually nice to ride the train and relax. I can't believe how we are becoming a big city more and more now and have more public transportation like FrontRunner.

It was a perfect game. Since the weather has started to cool down at night, it was just right to watch the game.

Joni and I we were so excited because they were having fireworks. It was the first fireworks she and I have seen all year. We in Lake Powell over the 4th of July so we missed those.

They had one of the best fireworks shows I have seen.

Tyler being a dork. He was so sick of me taking picture so this is about the best one he would take with me. I love pictures just because I love the memories. Even if it was about our 5th Bees game, they are all different.

Tyler's Birthday!

August 14th was the 30th Birthday for Tyler! Wednesday night we wentto bed around 11:30ish and I was so excited for his Birthday, so I thought why not just stay up longer until midnight and be the first person to wish him a happy birthday, so I made sure that I had plenty of conversation until it was time and at midnight I yelled HAPPY BIRTHDAY I know I am a dork.
Us at the Macaroni Grill!

Tyler and Braxton (Tyler's Nephew) I love this pictures it shows perfect when Tyler smiles his eye disappear! I love his smile.

Starting from the left, Tyler, Me, Braxton (Tyler's Nephew), Joni's niece, Joni (Cory's Wife), Cory (Tyler's Brother), Mom Kay, and Dad Carl! We all had such a great night at dinner the food was fabulous and the bread is to die for. I hope he had a good Birthday.

I love you Tyler.

Home Away From Home!

This is our home away from home! We love camping and also really enjoy the luxury of having flushing toilets, showers and most of all AIR CONDITIONING but still have the smell of BBQ, Smores, fires and most of all sleeping in a tent.

Calli enjoying the Air conditioning and also just being with Tyler and I, our little family.

Calli and I. Calli's so funny, when she is tired I love just to hold and cuddle her. Tyler laughs at me all the time because he says it can't be comfortable for her, but she never moves away so she must be comfortable right?
